A Savior who lives now. Isaiah 9:6-7

For to us a child is born,      to us a son is given, the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,   Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7  Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne   and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it   with justice and righteousness    from that time on and forever. The zeal of the  Lord  Almighty   will accomplish this. Isaiah 9:6-7 When I read through the Bible for the first time, I was struck by how many times the phrase "the Lord lives" appears in the Bible. Especially when I was reading the Old Testament, I had a strong impression of this. And I believed in Christ because I felt firsthand that the Lord was actually alive. As I continue my life of faith, sometimes I almost forget that the Lord is alive. However, when I almost forget, there is a moment of joy when I am reminded through overcoming trials and various things,

To the children suffering from bullying

If I were to send a letter to all the children who are now suffering from bullying, I would like to tell them as follows.  Hello. nice to meet you. Maybe you are so sad and painful that you can't hear any words. But if possible, I would like to write to you in prayer so that what I want to convey to you, if necessary, will reach your heart. If you are an elementary school student, the content of this letter may be a little difficult, but I will write something important for children of all ages, so please read it. I had the same experience about 6 to 15 years old as you are suffering from. Also, because of my character, I tend to get bulled, and even after graduation of junior high school, I often suffered from it. No one has the same life as others, so my similar experience may not be exactly the same as you, but at least I can imagine how much you are suffering now. When I first experienced bullying, I was very confused. Gradually, it became common for me to be bullied. (A

What is Worship?

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Romans 12: 1            What is worship? Many Christians meet on Sunday mornings and have a time of "worship." It is very important for those who believe in the same Lord to encourage each other and look up to the Lord together. But the essence of worship that the Bible shows is more than that. This is very similar to the church that Bible tells referring to each of us, the body of Christ, not a building or organization. The worship that the Bible tells of is more than physical, it is our way of life. Romans 12: 1 makes this clear. Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. This is the worship that God wants us to live as God's own. Though it is good to keep

Prayer

1 John 5:14 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.                 Have you ever prayed? You may have asked God when your loved one is on the bed of illness, before an important exam, or at a major milestone in your life. The Bible's prayer is a dialogue with God revealed by Jesus Christ. God has long been waiting for you since you were born on earth and knows you better than you, from the number of bones to the number of hairs. And God loves you much deeper than you love you. Jesus Christ took our place and died on the cross carrying our sins. Sin is the source of all evil and bad feelings, not from God. God is love. What deviates from the love in us is sin. This sin cut us off from God, but when Jesus Christ was punished for our sins and resurrected, we could regain our relationship with God. Christ became the bridge between God and us. Therefore, we can pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ.

What is the Church?

One thing I ask from the Lord,    this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord     all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord     and to seek him in his temple. Psalm 27: 4   If a man believes in Christ, does he have to go to church? Many people may have the question. What is a church? Many people think of a building with a cross. However, the New Testament Acts 7:48 says, "The Most High does not live in houses made by human hands." The church that the Bible speaks of is a universal thing that exists in eternity, not a physical object, but a spiritual one. The Bible reiterates that the church is the body of Christ. And the head of the church is Christ.   Jesus asked his disciple Peter, "Who do you say I am?” Then Peter replies: “ You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” To Peter, Christ said, “ Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And

What is Faith?

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11: 1   Faith is, in other words, trust. Faith is a term that refers to trust in God. For example, we look at timetables to know when buses or trains are coming, and we go to bus stops or stations by the time. That's because you trust the timetable. To trust the words of the Bible in the same way is faith. Also, if you are happy when you are told, "You are an important person," the person who is told trusts the word "You are an important person." In the same way, trusting God's Word and God, trusting God Jesus Christ, this is faith. Faith is essential in Christianity. Just believe, this is what the Bible wants us to do. John 3:16 says: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.’’     Why this verse says you just have to believe? That is because man's first si

The Bible

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Psalm 119: 105   Have you ever seen the Bible? If you have graduated from a mission school, you may have read it at school. There are more than 40 authors and thousands of years of events. Before the birth of printing technology, books were copied by human hands and left for posterity. Many books of the same era have few manuscripts left. However, there are countless Bible manuscripts. With the passion of countless people, this book is now in our hands.
