What is Christianity?

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

 

Christianity is able to express one word. It is love.

God is able to express in one word. It is love. The following words in the Bible "No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” 1 John4:12, 16

 

Christianity has become quite complicated in history. It may be used as a tool to bind people according to various principles, or it may connect with   nations or organizations and it's used as a cause to hurt people. Even nowthere are various distortions in Christendom.

However, Christianity is originally very simple and what everyone experiences and desires. It's not a religion. It's love. God is love. And God created people to love. He made human in the image of God and in the likeness of God, so man and woman became an existence who can love others.

 

We cannot live without relationships with others. When given love, one comes to love one. On the contrary, if love is not given, one becomes hungry for love. Crime, war, the problems of the world arise from this hunger of love. We are all born of parents. The child needs the love of the parent. The Bible says that God is our father. We are children of god. That is why we are loved. Actually, parents love their own children just because they are their children. God loves us unconditionally because God is the source of love. He wants to give his child everything he or she needs. God has a personality, and he knows and loves all of us. Love is not robbing, but giving. God's love is appeared in the world in the form of a man.

 

That is Jesus Christ. ”Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves , has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." １John4: 7-10

 

 We have a nature that is out of love. That is sin. Sin caused a disconnection with God.

God gave us an eternal life that never perishes. We have a body and inside of this, there is a soul and a spirit. God's life is not only for the body but also for the inside of the person. Man lost that kind of life when he was guilty. People believe in Satan's lies that tried to separate him from God. At that moment, a person was guilty and a person died. The beginning of creation, in Garden of Eden a tree of life and a tree of knowledge of good and evil were planted. God told man "Don't eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, when you eat from that tree, you will definitely die." However, Satan in the shape of a snake said, "You will not die" to the man. The man doubted God and believed in Satan's lie. Man could no longer trust God. In addition, man became the existence will die. Man has become dead spiritually as well as physically. For the sins of man to revive the life, God gave his son Jesus Christ as a redeemer to the world. If a parent were said your child has sinned so is sent to hell to be judged and suffer, the parent who really loves the child would say this."I go and punished instead of my child. I Receive and suffer on behalf of my child. So please save my child." Everyone is a child of God. God loves his child, so Christ came to pay for the sins of man. Christ carried the sin of man and hung on the cross. Jesus Christ resurrected three days after he died on the cross. He promised to be with us until the end of the world. Christ is still alive and working. He is not the one who died 2000 years ago. Believing in Christ as our Savior, God forgives us and has paved the way for eternal life. The most precious thing man can give others is his or her own life.

 

God did not stint his life for us. By believing in Christ We will never perish,

be given the eternal life. God has shown his love by Christ. Christ was sent to give freedom for us. Christ freed people from all the rules that bound them. Jesus Christ gave to us only one commandment. "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you." John 15:12

 

Knowing the love of God, loving people, That is what God wants us. The teaching of Christianity is only one thing, it's love. To know and love God is what God want you. God is love , therefore God gives His precious son Jesus Christ for us to have eternal life without perishing.

 

Christ is told an analogy that showed God's love The story of prodigal son who begged the heritage of his father while he is alive. The son left his home after he received, and he had used up the property he received. Therefore, he was difficult to live. He decided to return to his father and apologize him, and he returned to his father His father opened his arms and greeted him without blaming his returning son. The father hugged him, and holds him a feast with the joy of his son's return. This is the love of God. Christ washed the feet of all his beloved disciples. God is not just looking down from a high place, but make himself low and serve a loved one. This is the image of God. Christianity is love. What God is telling people is love. God is love.
